There are several ways for an employee to communicate with the Leave Specialist
- Via Personal Conversations/Phone Calls: you may want to create a Case Note within the Correspondence section of the employee’s case in order to keep a history of the communications that occur with the employee.
- Via Email outside LeaveXpert: you may want to upload the emails into the employee’s LeaveXpert case in order to keep a history of your communications with the employee.
- Via Letters outside LeaveXpert: you may want to upload the emails into the employee’s LeaveXpert case in order to keep a history of your communications with the employee.
- Via the Self Service Portal: if your organization uses the LeaveXpert Self Service portal, employees can login to their Self Service Portal and Add Correspondence records to their cases. Correspondence records from the employee may include notes regarding the Leave of Absence and/or attachments they need to submit such as certification forms.Once an employee saves a correspondence record it is automatically saved into their LeaveXpert case where the Leave Specialist can view it. The assigned Leave Specialist will also receive an automatic email notification that a new correspondence record has been added to the case.
