Throughout the LeaveXpert system you will see grids of information.  These grids are designed to allow users the utmost flexibility in filtering and sorting their LeaveXpert data. 

To filter the information displayed in the grid, click on the funnel icon next to the column name.  This will then allow you to filter the information in the column using a variety of methods such as partial matching, exact matches, and date ranges. 


To streamline navigation, some grids are automatically filtered when they are first displayed.  You can determine if any filters are preset as the funnel icon will be highlighted.  To remove or change the preset filter, click on the icon and click on Clear.

 

To sort the information within the grid, click on the column name for the column that you wish to sort by and the grid will sort the data ascending, descending, or original view order depending on the number of times the column heading is clicked. An arrow icon will appear when a column has been sorted.

 

In addition, users can extend the number of rows displayed per page within the grid and move to different pages of data.  To extend the number of rows, clicks on drop-down menu next to “items per page” at the bottom of the grid. To access a different page within a grid, you may select the page number at the bottom of the grid or use the left and right arrows to access additional pages.

 

You may also refresh grids by clicking on the circular arrow icon in the bottom right hand corner of the grid.

 

In addition, you may edit, delete or review items listed grids by selecting the icons available, the pencil icon is for editing, the icon is for deleting, the magnifying glass icon is for viewing the item, and the downward pointing arrow is to download the item. Each grid offers different functionality.
