Once you have accessed the Employee Details, you can update the employee demographic information, work schedule and/or contacts.

  • To update the employee demographic information, such as work state, department, job title, etc. click on the Profile tab. Please note that when you first access the Employee Details, you will be automatically directed to the Profile tab.
  • Click on the Work Schedule tab, to update the employees scheduled work days and hours worked per day.
  • To add employee contacts, click on the Contacts tab. The contacts entered for each employee may be accessed within their cases to send correspondence.

 

Important Fields within this Section:

  • Employee No. – the employee number is used for additional employee searches and case numbering
  • Date of Hire – the original date of hire is used when determining months of service requirements for FMLA
  • Work State – this is used along with leave reason information to determine appropriate state leave types
  • Work Schedule – this is used when adding continuous absences to determine the time used


If your organization supplies LeaveXpert with a demographic or eligibility feed of employee information, you will not be able to edit employee records in the system.  To edit an employee's demographic information, please contact your site administrator to ensure that the updates to the employee record will be provided to LeaveXpert on the next scheduled data feed.
