Much of the information regarding the case will be recorded within the Leave Details Summary tab.

When you access a LeaveXpert case, the Leave Details screen is displayed by default.

 

Important Fields in this Section:

 

  • Leave Effective Date – used to record the overall effective date that the leave of absence will begin. This must be populated and will impact the following calculations within LeaveXpert:

    • Months Worked Actual.  This field is calculated based on the Date(s) of Hire entered for teh employee.

    • Hours Worked Actual (Note this field may be auto-populated if time and attendance data is sent to Optis.

    • Benefit - Used (prior to Effective Date)

    • Benefit – Available (as of Effective Date)

    • Benefit – Currently Available

  • Next Doctor’s Appointment – used to record the next appointment that the employee has scheduled.  This field is used to generate automated LeaveXpert tasks.

  • Max Duration Date – used to record the maximum date the employee can be out on the leave of absence based on the Leave Type benefits available.  This field is used to generate automated LeaveXpert tasks and is used for the standard Max Duration Report.

  • Leave Reason - used to determine the Leave types which will be associated with the case when the case is created. The leave types will not update if the Leave Reason is changed after the case has been created.  The fields displayed below Leave Reason will change based on the leave reason selection.
